Frequently asked questions

We are dedicated to assisting you in working with our APIs. If you are still seeking information after reading this page, reach out to us — we are always delighted to help.

Why would I use Genève Aéroport APIs?

Our APIs offer access to scheduled flights to and from the airport, operated by over 40 different airlines. We also provide various other data sources to empower developers and partners to leverage the full range of available information.

Whether you are an airline, a ground handler, a service provider operating at Genève Aéroport, or a developer working on a web application for global passengers, you might find the possibilities of our APIs intriguing.

How does it work and how do I start?

Create an account on the Developer Portal and you get access to the public Flight API, which lets you explore what our APIs can do. If you operate at the airport and need operational data, see partner access instead.

What is the difference between Open and Partners APIs?

Open APIs share public data, are self-service and are secured with a subscription key. Partners APIs share detailed operational data with trusted partners, are secured with OAuth 2.0 and IP filtering, and carry a higher service level. Start here compares the two side by side.

Will you offer more APIs and services in the future?

Yes. We are continuously expanding our range of APIs and services, and you can expect a growing number of them to become available.

Do you offer support?

Yes, limited support during office hours. Contact us for more information.

Where do I find technical documentation?

Detailed technical documentation, code samples and the API Explorer are available once you have an account and are signed in. Availability targets and service levels are discussed with you during onboarding so they match what your integration needs.
